Up Next: Brad Heller -Actor… The Chosen, BEEF on Netflix, God’s Not Dead: In God We Trust, Malibu Dan and so much more!
Next session: Saturday, May 10th, at 12 noon pacific time
Brad Heller has been working as an actor since 1987, and teaching actors for over three decades since 1994. He also worked as a stand-up comedian in Boston and Rhode Island while finishing his degree at the highly regarded Boston University School of Theater Arts before moving to Los Angeles in 1991.
Brad specializes in playing comedy in a way that is not just “shtick”, but tugs on the heart… which can be difficult, but can be learned. Your job is to create characters that the audience connects with, relates to, and has empathy for. This is why we still like watching classics like Cheers or The Office over and over, because we relate to the “people.”
Some of Brad’s credits include a recurring role on the mega-hit Amazon Prime show The Chosen. He just filmed the critically acclaimed Netflix black comedy, BEEF, and has also guest-starred in the hit comedy, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
Brad has done sitcom work as a series regular for two seasons on Malibu Dan, and a recurring role on Hitting the Brakes, both streaming on Pureflix Entertainment.
His film credits include God’s Not Dead 2, and God’s Not Dead 5. Brad tends to bring his comedic chops to his roles while always keeping his roles honest and real.
